We are recruiting for a full-time Board Certified Behavioral Analyst to join our Bradley Schools in Westerly, RI or in Wakefield, RI.
Requires a Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from an accredited school, as well as board certification as a BCBA by the Behavior Analytic Certification Board. State licensure or eligibility for state licensure by the RI Department of Health is required.
Requires demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to students with behavioral health and/or developmental challenges, that may influence educational, emotional, and behavioral functioning and progress. Preferred candidates will have one to two years of specialized clinical experience with children and adolescents in a clinical, school or mental health setting. Experience working with students with autism is preferred.
Under the general supervision of the Clinical Director, the BCBA independently provides school-based functional behavioral analytic services (assessment, treatment, and consultation) for students attending the Bradley Schools. Delivers high-quality services for students and adhere to all school policies, procedures, and practices. Provides effective leadership, as well as guidance and support, to their assigned teams, as needed or requested. May serve as treatment team leaders for Bradley School classrooms, leading school-based teams, developing and supporting social-emotional learning strategies, group therapy, clinical/diagnostic assessments and functional behavioral assessment. BCBAs also may provide supervision of graduate-level trainees, as assigned.
Bradley Schools serve students whose behavioral health challenges require a level of specialized instruction and intervention that is beyond what their current placements can provide. We also provide programming to students with developmental challenges, such as autism and or intellectual disabilities, who may have additional behavioral health needs.
