Location: Providence, RI

Two years of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology or equivalent with additional schooling in CT Scanner technology and techniques, or a minimum or six months on-the-job-training. Must be Registered Radiologic Technologist with current license to work in the state of Rhode Island.

Certfication for IV injection required.

Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients throughout the life span, with consideration of aging processes, human development stages, and cultural patterns in each step of the process.


One year CT scan experience and/or in-service training. Two years radiologic experience desirable.

Under general supervision of the Supervisor, CT & MRI Divisions, operates a computerized tomographic scanner, and related equipment, to produce images of any designated anatomical area. Makes independent decisions, as required for organization and scheduling of services. All essential functions performed in this position reflect the age specific needs of the geriatric, adult, and adolescent patient.
