•Prior experience with qualitative and/or quantitative methodology (strongly preferred)
•Comfort discussing sensitive topics, including histories of violence and mental health
•Prior experience with clinical research and institutional review boards (IRBs)
•Familiarity with citation software (e.g., EndNote), Stata or similar statistical software, and/or NVivo

We are seeking a Research Assistant (RA) for an NIH-funded project within the Department of Emergency Medicine. This research project involves conducting an RCT of a text-message-based behavioral intervention for adolescents (ages 13-17) that have had a history of cyber-victimization within the past year. RA responsibilities will include a variety of tasks, including: patient screening, recruitment, and follow-up; data entry and management; survey and intervention management; intervention implementation; and qualitative patient interviews. The RA will also manage study logistics, such as screening and reimbursement logs. Finally, s/he will review relevant background literature, participate in qualitative and quantitative analyses of study data, and help with manuscript preparation and grant writing.
