BS, MS or Ph.D. in the field of medical physics, computer science, computer engineering or comparable technical discipline. Ph.D. preferred. Demonstrated ability to lead relevant work and develop advanced methods, techniques, and approaches applicable Radiation Oncology as evidenced by accomplishments in code, algorithms and/or model development and talks and publications delivered to peers on work accomplished.Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills including clearly communicating technical information and building relationships with collaborators and users.A demonstrated ability to express ideas clearly in oral and written presentations. Demonstrated ability to lead, develop work involving multiple capabilities and organizations in one or more areas critical to Radiation-Oncology specific technology systems and research.
Reports to the Medical Physicist-in-Chief. Leads computationally-intensive clinical development projects and informatics initiatives. Supports, advises and compliments existing Information Technology (IT) team members implementing Radiation-Oncology specific technology systems, both clinical and research
