Bachelor Degree required (Preferably in Communications, Marketing, Sales or English)
2-3 years of experience in fundraising, marketing, and/or event management.
Basic knowledge of Raiser's Edge or a similar database (Tessitura, Little Green Light, Bloomerang)
Well developed writing skills. Grant writing experience a plus.
Social media prowess. Experience with content creation a plus.
Exceptional organization and communication skills.
A passionate and entrepreneurial spirit who is a go-getter and initiates plans with little direct supervision.
The Development Coordinator works to support the fund raising and event planning work of the Development Manager.
Essential Job Functions:
Work to coordinate activities for fund raising activities both internal and external events and activities.
Assist Development manager in the writing of grant submissions and reports.
Manage information entry into Raiser's Edge platform to ensure accurate reporting and access to key data.
Oversee all monies received at The Autism Project. Prepare weekly deposit, work closely with accounts receivable contact to ensure accurate Cost Center allocations.
Social Media Responsibilities:
Prepare material for posting on all Social Media platforms in alignment with The Autism Project's image, beliefs and mission.
Imagine Walk and Family Fun Day:
Coordinate key logistics for the annual event including liaison role with the park, community partners and family teams and donors.
Oversee the record keeping for the event including direct donations, online donations, team development and corporate donations including in-kind donations.
Identify and secure all vendors for the annual event.
Organize all Fun Day activities and determine volunteers required for the day.
Manage the recruit all volunteers for annual event and other events as needed.
