5+ years of recruiting leadership experience

Subject matter expert (SME) in progressive, consultative recruiting methodologies

Experience developing and executing fully comprehensive recruitment programs

The Director of Talent Acquisition will manage a team of approximately 12 people in a highly networked (matrixed) environment where 2,500+ external applicants are hired each year across the Lifespan network. The qualified candidate brings experience recruiting in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This person must also possess a strong background in reporting and analytics and expertise at process improvements. The Director of Talent Acquisition will report to the Vice President if Talent Acquisition and Sourcing.

Lead the day to day performance management and execution of the Talent Acquisition recruiting team

Overhaul, develop and drive consistency that allows the talent acquisition team to focus on attracting, finding, selecting and hiring engineering and technical professionals

Ensure processes, data, analytics and reporting are tracked for efficiency and effectiveness.

Drive a metric based performance model ensuring recruiters are meeting objectives

Maintain workflows and relationships with partners and vendors

Review current TA processes to identify opportunities and determine plans for streamlining to ensure rigor, thoroughness and a quality experience

Lead and manage a small portfolio of critical open positions

Identify and implement recruiting best practices across the team and company to streamline and standardize processes

Provide leadership in the development and execution of programs (i.e., employment branding, employee referrals, etc.)

Maximize value of current applicant tracking system (ATS)

Act as a thought partner and coach to Executives and General Managers when it comes to all things recruiting and hiring

Continuously innovate and look for new and creative ways to attract and select talent

Act as strategic partner to the VP of Talent Acquisition and Sourcing

Reporting & Analytics
•Ensure systems support is accurate and provides meaningful reporting for the business

•Develop recruitment metrics in partnership with recruiting operations and the VP of Talent Acquisition that drive optimal recruiting performance

•Develop and refine existing reports for the business

•Manage KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to ensure that the team’s processes and performance are running efficiently and/or improving over time

•Collaborate with business and other departments to continually assess and improve upon the effectiveness of recruiting tools and processes
