Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, business management, Engineering or related field. Combination of computer-related technical training and progressively more responsible IS management responsibility may substitute for degree. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) Certification preferred.


Minimum of 5 years project management experience. Knowledge and understanding of project management principles and methodologies, and with demonstrated success delivering IT projects in a complex organization on-time, within budget and in-scope. Knowledge of Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI.) Proficient using MS Project and MS Office. Ability to manage multiple priorities, resources, customers, and management with a focus on consistency and accuracy. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization and influence others to progress toward a common vision or goal.
Experience in the architecting of complex IT Infrastructure solutions required.
PMP, MCSE, CCDP, or CCNP certifications preferred.

The IS Project Manager reports to the VP, Chief Technology Officer. Under the general supervision and within Lifespan policies and procedures, plans, directs, coordinates, and implements large scale projects for Information Services. Controls and completes specific projects within budget, on time and consistent with Lifespan strategy, commitments and goals.
