Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program. Certification eligible by the National Commission on the Accreditation of Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants. Certified in American Heart Association Advance Cardiac Life Support.

Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care patients with consideration of aging processes, human development stages and cultural patterns in each step of the care process.

One-year experience in a medical setting with patient care responsibility. Cardiology experience preferred.


Under the general supervision of the Medical Director, Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and the administrative supervision of the Cath Lab Manager, performs a variety of duties which encompass but are not limited to the care and management of pre and post Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) patients, including assisting in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. All essential functions performed in this position reflect age specific needs of the patients.

Duties include scrubbing in the Cath/EP lab, sheath management, pre and post procedure orders and pre-admission testing.
