High school level of knowledge including courses in math and database management with familiarity of computerized statistical analyses.

Project management skills including facilitation, prioritization and resource management.

Knowledge of electronic health information management systems.

Organizational skills to effectively maintain various documents, report and manuals.

Knowledge of personal computers including all aspects of the Microsoft Office Suite.

Effective verbal and writing skills.


Minimum of two years’ experience in the health care setting performing a range of duties including familiarity with data base development and maintenance. Experience should demonstrate ability to interpret and prepare a variety of statistical reports using computerized data.

Under the general direction of the Director of the Lifespan Cancer Institute (LCI) and the Manager of the Oncology Data Management (ODM) department, and within hospital and department policies and procedures works closely with ODM and LCI staff to provide assistance in the planning, reviewing and completion of relevant projects to support the department and hospital-wide needs for informational reports. Prepares and maintains a variety of statistical and informational reports related to quality indicators and outcome measurements.
