We are recruiting for a full-time Psychologist to join our Bradley Schools in Westerly, RI or in Wakefield, RI.
Requires a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology, as well as state licensure or eligibility for state licensure. A postdoctoral fellowship in a relevant area is preferred. Consideration may be given to licensed psychologists with doctorates in Counseling or School Psychology, if they evidence specific skill in providing clinical/administrative services within the Bradley School or similar settings.
Requires demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to school-aged youth, with consideration of developmental processes, as well as cultural, familial, and individual factors that may influence educational, emotional, and behavioral functioning and progress. Preferred candidates will have one to two years of supervised postdoctoral experience within the field of Clinical Child and Adolescent psychology.
Under the general supervision of the Clinical Director, the Staff Psychologist independently provides school-based psychological assessment, treatment, and consultation for students attending the Bradley Schools. Staff Psychologists also may provide supervision of undergraduate, graduate, and/or postdoctoral psychology trainees (e.g., practicum students and clinical psychology residents and postdoctoral fellows).
Bradley Schools serve students whose behavioral health challenges require a level of specialized instruction and intervention that is beyond what their current placements can provide. We also provide programming to students with developmental challenges, such as autism and or intellectual disabilities, who may have additional behavioral health needs.
