Seeking reliable, attentive, personable individual to assist studies of HIV risk behavior in teens and young adults. NIH-Funded projects include: developing/testing iPhone games for young adults who are living with HIV or at great risk for acquiring it to improve adherence to medication and transforming an effective, facilitator-led HIV prevention intervention for at-risk teens into a fully-digitized, easily disseminated media package.

The position is full-time for one to two years. Principal duties include recruiting and assessing subjects, maintaining study records, data entry and database maintenance, and facilitating group interventions. Participation in manuscript and grant preparation is possible for those with interest and the necessary skills. Bachelor's degree in health or behavioral sciences preferred. Basic computer knowledge, including MS Word and MS Excel are required. Knowledge of SPSS is not required but is desirable. Attention to detail, critical thinking, and strong interpersonal skills are required. Study activities, such as assessments out of the office, may occur until 7 PM on one evening each week, and access to a car is required. Experience working with adolescents and/or families is highly desirable.
