 Lead facilitator for Social Skills Groups for children and teens with autism.  Groups are formed based upon age and abilities of participants. This is a 3-6 hours per week position for 9 months.
 
Essential Job Functions
Social Skills Groups
o Facilitate Social Skills Groups within the guidelines established by the Department of Human Services for Medicaid eligibility.
o In conjunction with Group Facilitator develop activity plans for assigned groups including curriculum goals activity sequence and materials.
o Maintain goal sheets and progress notes for students within group including support staff and 1:1 SALs and treatment support assessments.
o Oversee scheduled audits of participant files for quality control and compliance.
o Assess and develop individual treatment plans as needed
o Design and direct fabrication of specialized visual/support materials.
o Maintain weekly billing sheets for students within group submitting them weekly.
o Attend trainings and staff meetings associated with Social Skills Groups.
o Communicate with families regarding their children�s group participation.
o Maintain communication with coordinators regarding group status and updates.
o Supervise/manage support and 1:1 staff.
o Maintain billable hours as determined by Group Program Coordinators.


Requirements
o Flexible work schedule including some nights and weekends when groups are running.
o Licensed professional with Rhode Island Dept. of Health (OT SLP LICSW LMHC LMFT or BCBA)
o Knowledge of autism spectrum disorders a must along with training in current best practices for supporting individuals with autism.
o Willingness to work as a team member in a rapidly expanding NON-PROFIT agency.
