Grants Administrator - School Based Svcs PD

Summary:

Under general supervision of the Director of Clinical Innovation coordinates programmatic planning and implementation for school based behavioral services funded by federal state and philanthropic grants. Identifies and develops resources for continued funding and participates in all aspects of the grant process to support the initiative.

 

Responsibilities:

In collaboration with the Behavioral Health Workforce and Professional Development Manager and the Clinical Supervisor of School-Based Services the Grants Supervisor coordinates the strategic planning development and implementation of grant goals timelines reporting and activities.

Establishes and maintains effective relationships with community grant partners and stakeholders including but not limited to the Rhode Island Department of Education school districts public and private charter schools private schools Rhode Island Department of Children Youth and Families parent groups health centers hospitals advocacy organizations primary care providers behavioral health providers and city departments/state agencies/federal agencies. Regularly participates in meetings with representatives of these organizations to enhance communication and maintain awareness of evolving needs.

Provides professional development presentations in accordance with instructor certifications and areas of expertise.

In collaboration with grant sub-contractors oversees grant data collection and management.

Actively participates in all aspects of the grant-writing process from strategic planning to proposal development to cultivating relationships and acknowledgment. Under the supervision of the Director of Clinical Innovation and in collaboration with the Clinical Supervisor of School-Based Services assumes the lead role in the development of specific proposals.

Works with the internal media and marketing resources to identify and maintain media relationships and opportunities.

Represents the Bradley Learning Exchange and Bradley Hospital and communicates its mission to appropriate audiences and the larger community.

Maintains quality assurance safety environmental and infection control in accordance with established policies procedures and objectives

Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Other information:

BASIC KNOWLEDGE:

Master�s degree in a related area and a minimum of five years in behavioral or educational management. Strong interpersonal organizational proofreading and research skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and think strategically.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of five years in behavioral and/or educational program management.

WORK ENVIRONMENT ANDPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Sits stands walks intermittently throughout the day.

INDEPENDENT ACTION:

Perform independently within Lifespan�s policies and procedures.

None.
