Human Experience Analyst

Summary:

The Human Experience Analyst reports to the Manager of Volunteer and Customer Services. Under general supervision and within Lifespan established policies the Analyst analyzes evaluates manages reports and consults on various sources of team member and patient experience (otherwise known as the �Human Experience�). Statistically supports the evidence-based development and implementation of TMH�s improvement agenda for patient experience and customer service.

 

Responsibilities:

Develops and improves performance measurement strategies methodologies and activities. Performance measurement strategies methodologies and activities may include but are not limited to the identification of performance metrics the identification of primary and secondary data sources and data management (i.e. developing and appropriately manipulating electronic performance data repositories to support departmental analytic activities for the human experience). Proactively evaluates all performance data for statistical accuracy and validity and searches for and identifies statistical threats to performance data accuracy and validity.

Collaborates with the Manager of Volunteer and Customer Services directors and managers frontline staff and outside organizations on obtaining accurate reliable and timely data supporting the human experience performance improvement activities.

Process learner feedback/evaluations and other data to promote continuous improvement of training and educational programs.

Interpret YourVoice results and data to identify best practices and assist with creation of action plans and goals.

Identifies collects analyzes and presents data specific to the human experience monitoring and improvement projects. Uses collected data to define and measure processes identify variation from goals or established standards. Monitors documentation and corrective action plans developed in in response to improvement activities. Align data collection to accurately measure process steps (under investigation) for improving human experience program initiatives.

Manages assigned administrative aspects of projects directly to include but not limited to: scheduling rooms producing program announcements handouts and follow-up communications; arranging for provision of audiovisual hardware and software; overseeing registration of participants preparing program documentation as needed. Provide assessment and program outcome measures. Ensures the accuracy validity and timeliness of all work.

Performs other related duties as needed.

EDUCATION

Bachelor�s Degree is required;Six Sigma Green Belt Certification required within 24 months of employment.

EXPERIENCE:

Two to five years of experience in an analytic role in a health care setting or demonstrated experience in research statistical analyses quantitative and qualitative assessment.

Strong analytical systems-thinking project management and/or facilitation skills aimed at process improvement.

High level of interpersonal and communications skills to effectively consult with all levels of leadership management and non-management employees.

Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment.

Proficient skills in Microsoft Office i.e. Word Excel Access PowerPoint; Minitab as well as other electronic health record and computer applications are required.

Advanced data display skills are required for analysis and graphing.

Experience in group facilitation project management and providing training and instruction to users at all levels is required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Work is performed in a typical office setting requiring extensive periods of sitting with arms extended as well as walking and standing.

INDEPENDENT ACTION:

Incumbent generally establishes own work plans and priorities including the development and utilization of appropriate analytic strategies methodologies and activities to assure accurate valid and timely completion of work in conformance with organizational and department policies and practices.

None.
