Case Worker Residential –Interview Day

Responsibilities:
• Maximizing residents’ success, satisfaction, and ownership in their living and working environment through effective skills-trainings and relationship building
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment within the residential program
• Providing client-driven services that ensure quality and excellence in client care
• Facilitating ADL skill-building for residential living and for community integration by supervising and teaching clients daily medication routines, budgeting, self-preservation skills, etc.
• Participating on a multi-disciplinary team in the development and implementation of client treatment plans and progress reviews
• Providing, coordinating, and monitoring treatment services for all assigned clients
• Providing shift coverage, including carrying out the many functions of household maintenance, especially cleaning and meal preparation
• Assisting in resolution of medical, psychiatric, and behavioral crises, conflict resolution, and symptom management
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
• Associate’s degree in Human Services preferred, or prior experience in the mental health field
• Ability to work established shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd), as well as alternate weekends and holidays:
• Ability to perform routine household chores, some that may involve lifting and bending
• Ability to obtain and maintain CPR certification and first aid training
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle
