Summary: The Clinical Nurse Educator reports to the Director of the
Center for Professional Practice and Innovation (CCPI) and collaborates with
the CPPI staff in planning educating conducting consulting and coordinating
patient care practices within the nursing department.

Other information: Licensure as Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island by the Rhode Island Board of Nursing or licensure as a Registered Nurse in accordance with the Nurse Licensure Compact agreement of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing. BASIC KNOWLEDGE: Baccalaureate degree in Nursing is required. Must have licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the Certification in Wound Ostomy Continence Nursing (CWOCN) Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care EXPERIENCE: A minimum of five years of relevant clinical experience. Demonstrated ability to effectively use a personal computer WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: General hospital environment with occasional stressful SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None.
