Digital Marketing Specialist

Summary:
Under general supervision of the Manager of Digital Marketing develops various online promotions and email campaigns to support Lifespan�s outreach efforts as well as manages and supports SEO and SEM strategies to support inbound digital efforts. Key point of contact for disseminating communications materials and information through enhanced digital activities. Creates compelling web mobile and digital marketing communications experiences for clients that support overall marketing communications strategies.

 

Responsibilities:
Plans develops and executes digital programs and campaigns including online advertising e-mail marketing website integration mobile and other digital deliverables. Interfaces with marketing communications team as well as Social Media Web/Digital Content and Public Relations. Leads ongoing management of digital touch points.



Works closely with marketing communications Content and Creative to develop and execute e-mail marketing campaigns for various external audiences that support the marketing communications and business strategies of Lifespan and its service lines and that meet or exceed industry benchmarks in campaign performance/results.



Evaluates and successfully implements e-mail marketing technologies including integration with other digital touch points.



Works closely with marketing communications Content and Creative to develop and execute digital display advertising campaigns that align with brand/image advertising campaigns for Lifespan and its service lines and that meet or exceed industry benchmarks in campaign performance/results. Interfaces with digital advertising vendor to ensure successful execution of campaigns and to achieve maximum ROI.



Works closely with marketing communications and Web/Digital to plan and execute paid search/PPC marketing campaigns that support the marketing communications and business strategies of Lifespan and its service lines and that meet or exceed industry benchmarks in campaign performance/results. Interfaces with paid search/PPC vendor to ensure successful execution of campaigns and to achieve maximum ROI.



Tracks reports and analyzes digital display paid search/PPC initiatives and e-mail campaigns. Works with Digital/Web team to analyze website traffic and visitor behavior related to these inbound and outbound digital marketing efforts.



Works with the Digital/Web team to support SEO best practices across all Lifespan digital channels including website social media and mobile.



Remains current on latest trends across all digital disciplines to ensure most effective mix of digital strategies and tactics is developed to achieve Lifespan�s objectives.



Participates as a strategic team contributor in planning reviewing and sharing information related to assigned projects.



Participates in ongoing professional activities and affiliations to maintain current knowledge of developments in the field of digital marketing.



Participates in various committees task forces and quality improvement teams as needed.



Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS-EDUCATION:



Bachelor�s degree in digital marketing communications or related field is required.



QUALIFICATIONS-EXPERIENCE:



Two years or more experience in digital marketing or digital communications strategies tactics and analytics including website digital advertising and/or e-mail marketing - preferably in a health care environment.
