Diversity Equity and Inclusion Coordinator

Summary:

The Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Coordinator works under the guidance of Diversity Equity and Inclusion leaders to support the advancement of the diversity strategy of Lifespan by creating and managing programs. The Diversity Equity and Inclusion Coordinator works across the system to support the organizational DEI platform initiatives and tactics. The Diversity Equity and Inclusion Coordinator supports Lifespan Patients Providers People and Purpose.

Demonstrated ability to develop crisp high-level powerful presentations

Willingness and curiosity to use technology to advance content and presentations

Displays ability to research evaluate and analyze patient people and community data

Demonstrates ability and exhibits experience in utilizing and networking with internal departmental resources

Vision creativity and a passion for diversity work

Demonstrates successful completion of projects and events

Performs specialized tasks managing resources and establishing relationships with vendors and employees

Demonstrates project planning skills ensuring on time in budget programs

Demonstrates ability to execute programs to completion delegating tasks to team members

Demonstrates ability to build and sustain internal and external relationships

Holds self and others accountable to model excellence for all to see. For example demonstrates friendliness and courtesy effective communication that promotes belonging and authenticity delivered with first class service.

Oversees the delivery of projects and adjusts as needed to ensure they are delivered to specification and high standards

Collects and analyzes feedback and data from internal and external reports patients the community and employees.

 

Other information:

Education: Bachelor�s Degree or experience equivalent

Licensure/Certification: Microsoft Office Specialist preferred none required

Experience: Documented exposure to and embracing of issues of diversity equity and inclusion. Documented experience of three or more years project planning with completed outcomes or dedicated programs.

Languages: Ability to speak multiple languages desired
