Office Mgr

Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Manager Lifespan Home Medical coordinates office activities assists with direction of staff and sells various products for Lifespan Home Medical to providers establishments and individuals. Monitors referral activity revenue and accounts receivable educates referral sources on scope of products and services gathers and interprets data on customer satisfaction and quality measures establishes and monitors productivity goals for office staff and keeps staff up to date on new product and service offerings.

Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly reports to monitor referral activity revenue and accounts receivable.
Educate referral sources on the scope of products and services offered by Lifespan Home Medical.
Gather and interpret data regarding customer satisfaction and other quality measures. Establish and monitor productivity goals for office staff.
Keep office staff of Lifespan Home Medical informed and updated on new product offerings and service developments.
Oversee assignments of clerical and administrative staff providing direction in daily operations.
Ensure direction and support for billing and customer service functions.
Communicate with staff on a regular basis. Provide feedback and necessary job-related instruction.
Interview and recommend candidates to fill vacant positions. Provide training to staff in job functions. Prepare information for performance development summaries and conduct evaluation meetings as appropriate. Provide counseling to employees recognize achievements and recommend corrective action when necessary. Assist with any appeals process related to employee relations.
Assure accurate completion of employee time sheets.
Perform other functions and assist with projects as assigned. 

Other information:
BASIC KNOWLEDGE/OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school. Bachelor�s Degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
Two to three years related experience and/or training; alternatively an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Familiarity with the durable medical equipment business. Must be able to proficiently use a computer. Working knowledge of Fastrack billing software preferred. Knowledge of and ability to work with both Microsoft Word and Excel.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job the incumbent may occasionally be exposed to outside weather conditions when traveling on company business.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
Supervises up to 5 FTEs.
