Associates Degree or advanced secretarial training. Strong knowledge of medical terminology. Preferred advanced knowledge of EPIC, inventory control systems, and computerized purchasing systems (ESI,SSI, and/or Omni Direct system.) Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients throughout the life span with consideration of aging processes, human development stages and cultural patterns in each step of the care process.

EXPERIENCE:

Two years of previous supervisory experience. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills; must have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and physician leaders. Exceptional organizational skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize workload and respond to urgent requests as needed; must be able to manage their time efficiently and meet required deadlines. Must be proficient in computer systems (Word, Excel, Database Management).


The Administrative Coordinator reports to the Manager Peri-Operative Services. Under general supervision, performs analysis for operational-based activities for Perioperative Services or Endoscopy along with oversight of the support staff. Reports and performs analysis with the data collected. Recommends enhanced data collection processes as needed.
