Associates Degree in Business Administration or its equivalent. Familiar with facilities management construction process desirable. Understanding of analysis required to track physical facilities projects from conceptualization through implementation consistent with defined objectives and approved budgets, but where discretion is provided in determining methods used. Broad-based professional level of knowledge in Business Management, Financial Analysis and Accounting Practices and the ability to provide guidance and direction. Working knowledge of computers, , and software used to effectively track budgets, project estimates, financial analysis and projections, and project status reports.
Three years previous related experience in financial analysis, financial management and operations plus familiarity with facilities design, coordination of project and management. Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate the financial considerations and impacts of project accounting, reporting, managing , negotiating between members of the Facilities Teams, and effectively interacting with all levels of hospital personnel and outside contractors and consultants.
Under the general direction of the Facilities Manager, provides financial analysis and management services for capital projects (renovations and new construction). Manages all financial accounting reporting for operations and capital projects, and provides financial analysis as required for the reconciliation of capital projects and operational expenses. Ensures that financial progress and status of all operational expenses and capital projects are available to the facilities manager on a continuous basis.
